FAI Expedited Arbitration Rules 2024
The sole arbitrator may, after consulting with the parties, make separate awards on different issues at different times of the proceedings, unless all parties object to the issuance of a separate award. For example and without limitation, the sole arbitrator may decide by a separate award:
(a) an independent claim where several claims have been made in the arbitration;
(b) a specific part of the claim that has been admitted by the respondent; or
(c) a separate issue in dispute where the determination of that issue is decisive for the resolution of the other matters in dispute.
