Für Versorgungsfälle, die vor dem 11. Januar 2017 eingetreten sind, sind § 6 Absatz 1 Satz 2 Nummer 1, § 8 Absatz 1, § 9 Absatz 1, § 10 Satz 1, die §§ 11, 12 Absatz 1 Satz 1 und Absatz 2, § 13 Absatz 2 Satz 1 und 3, § 14a Absatz 2 Satz 1, § 38 Absatz 2 Nummer 2 und § 55 Absatz 2 in der bis zum 10. Januar 2017 geltenden Fassung anzuwenden. Satz 1 gilt entsprechend für künftige Hinterbliebene eines vor dem 11. Januar 2017 vorhandenen Versorgungsempfängers.
