Soweit in diesem Gesetz nichts anderes bestimmt ist, sind die für die Bundesbeamten geltenden versorgungsrechtlichen Vorschriften sinngemäß anzuwenden. Für den Begriff der Verwendung im öffentlichen Dienst im Sinne dieses Abschnitts gilt § 53 Abs. 8 des Beamtenversorgungsgesetzes entsprechend.
