FAI Expedited Arbitration Rules 2024
26.1 If the parties have not agreed on the seat of arbitration, or if the designation of the seat is unclear, the Board shall determine the seat of arbitration, unless the Board finds it appropriate to leave the determination of the seat to the sole arbitrator.
26.2 The sole arbitrator may, after consulting with the parties, conduct a hearing at any location it considers appropriate.
26.3 The award shall be deemed to have been made and the arbitration to have taken place at the seat of arbitration, regardless of whether any hearing is held elsewhere.
